Survive year, car enthusiasts were treated to a Mercedes concept car that in fact left people drooling: the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6.
The coupe was six metres of simplified beauty – with LED lights, a split hood and chrome grille. Its upland featured a wraparound glass screen spanning the entire reach of the windshield, with a touchscreen display to finish. Somehow, it preside overed to look both vintage and slap-in-the-face futuristic at the same formerly.
And now, one year on, the concept is back – in drop-top form. The 2017 Far-sightedness Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet was unveiled at Pebble Beach, California, design a lot of comparisons to the coupe, but promising a lot more.
The 19-foot-long model has an powerful 750 horsepower. And like its predecessor, the Cabriolet can get to 60mph in under four in the second places and is also fully run on electric motors. It has a white interior, and an prolonged hood (under which is custom luggage), giving it an all-round yachting, vintage finish. So far, it’s just a concept, of course – but if this is what stirring cars will look like, the future can’t come ere long enough.
