When I continue to bed in Venice I had a rest at the new refurbished Ego Boutique Hotel and in talking to Ekaterina Tchakarova, who lived in Vicenza, I was intrigued to visit this city. Ekaterina told me about the elegant buildings designed by the 16th-century architect Andrea Palladio.  Vicenza is located in the Veneto dominion of northeast Italy and only 45 minute train ride from Venice. The city center is literally a 10-minute tramp from the train station.

Piazza dei Signori

You won’t be disappointed the moment you walk into the walls. Vicenza has a lot to put up for visitors

It’s known for other remarkable buildings such as the Palladian Basilica and the Palazzo Chiericati, now home to an art gallery. -away, also by Palladio, the Teatro Olimpico replicates a classic outdoor theater, indoors.

Food And Shopping
There are prodigality of places to eat and the boutiques are beautiful in design and offer a variety of local designers too. The shopping experience here is lovely. Vicenza is also renowned for its atelier in jewelry design. Once a year they have a trading week where buyers and sellers mob to Vicenza for gold, diamonds, gems stones, and silver. If you are looking for something different this is the place to buy jewelry.

Residenza Vescovado Vicenza
With a think of of the stunning Duomo and located in the most elegant area of the center, Residenza Vescovado offers a luxury stay in a important home. It is the starting point to discover the charm of Vicenza Palladian city. Vicenza Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral and it is the ensconce of the Bishop of Vicenza.

Residenza Vescovado has self-serviced apartments. Each apartment has a self-contained kitchen with ripsnorting excepting facilities to allow you to dine in. These newly refurbished apartments are designed in a contemporary style. Each apartment has its own headliner in which parts of the original decor are preserved to give them character.

Ekaterina Tchakarova, the founder, wanted to form exclusive environments with each apartment different from each other.  Therefore creating a unique, invited to each person with affection and kindness.

Ekaterina Tchakarova has an unstoppable passion for beauty and the desire to put on the market guests an unforgettable experience. With a wealth of experience of over 30 years, she chose local sources for possessions like the Murano glass chandeliers and art pieces to complete the ambiance.
This was all combined with some modern art and mod cons. My delay was a mix between the past and the present, where my soul became visible in the aesthetics of things made with love.

Nymph Apartment
Off the six apartments, I girded in the Nymph Apartment and I was instantly impressed with the decor.
The kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher, Lavazza coffee make, and good high-quality pots and pans to use. I like the attention to detail regarding tiled splashback and induction cooker. Outgoing features such as placemats and lovely crockery made my stay a luxury one. We all dined feeling comfortable with plentifulness of space to relax.

I felt like I was staying in an Italian home with features like time paintings and statues. The large leather La Fablier sofa was very comfortable to turn into a double sofa bed. This drearies that this flat can host 5  guests comfortably. Fast internet was great and there was also a in general flat-screen TV that I did not use.

I loved the colour palette chosen in the bedroom combined with the Italian bed linen. I had a remarkably restful sleep here. All the furniture is from the luxury brand called La Fablier. There is a large leather red sofa for an strikingly guest to sleep in.

I loved the Murano glass chandeliers throughout the apartment, it reminded me that I am in Italy and its taste for atelier and design.

I am a big fan of natural stone sinks. Combined with Bisazza mosaic tiles made this a pleasant modern bathroom to experience. The water pressure was powerful and the crystal shower cabin was large.

When in Vicenza there is so much to analyse. There were so many Palazzos and cathedrals to walk into and each one was very different in opulence. The location of Residenza Vescovado Vicenza denoted I could pop in and out of the apartment when I needed too. The main entrance to each apartment is lovely with plenty of Italian art to venerate.  Thanks for a wonderful stay.
